At the request of many of my family, friends, and clients, posted here is a review of the Retrospective: Fifty Years of Watercolors by Gene Youngmann Exhibition, October 5 – November 6, 2020 at the Mari Michener Art Gallery at the James Michener Library on the campus of the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado. Several of the paintings presented here have been sold, some have been given as gifts to family and some were on loan and have been returned since the exhibit. A special thank you to the Friends of the UNC Libraries; Rachel Borum, Business Operations Manager and Accounting Specialist, University Libraries; and Colette Pitcher, Showcase Art Center and Library Liaison.
The “Retrospective: Exhibit” had 88 paintings which represents just a small portion of the year that I have created over the past fifty years, which numbers close to 1,500 paintings. Many of my paintings are in private collections, as well as in cooperate and business offices, and in many offices on college campuses.
Some paintings may not be presented because of no photography of the painting.
